Welcome to GCEP, Panvel
Government College of Education, Panvel Dist. Raigad (Maharashtra) is one
of the unique College of Teacher training. Being college having a natural
environment with boys and girls hotel facility, the college is named as
‘GURUKUL PARISAR’. We are still following ancient ‘GURUKUL PARAMPARA” while
conducting the B.Ed.curricula. We are actually shaping our student’s as good
citizen, Indian, then a good teacher with a global view. Practical approaches
of our output are never compromised with ethics which is mandatory to us. So it
is a term center for guidance, counselling and developing humanistic, realistic
and eclectical tendencies in a learner, future Teacher.
Extension service Department
District Level Extension service department of S.C.E.R.T :- Our college
is having extension service center of Raigad Dist. under S.C.E.R.T. We guide
primary and secondary teachers for action research. Our extension service
caters the needs of in-service training of secondary and senior secondary
teachers of Raigad Dist. This department arranges orientation programmes and
workshops for secondary teachers in Raigad Dist. In-service training for D.Ed.
College lecturers and Principals for senior scale is also arranged by extension
service department.
Department of C.T.E.
The college is upgraded as center for teacher education (C.T.E.) by MHRD
dated 20 March 1989. This department arranges training programmes for
in-service teachers.
